Update Jan 16, 2026:- two days after I posted my first review, my vehicle was repaired and ready for pick up. But drove it another two days and the check engine light came on again. I brought it back and they wiped the software reinstalled it since then it is working fine ??. I also had noticed jerky feeling whenever the engine will come on from hybrid and takeover, that jerkiness has also been reduced dramatically, so it seems that Vehicle was having this fault from day one. I’m increasing my rating from 3 to 4 Star. Just not very happy with excessive amount of wait time that I had to go through. Also a very kind request, please don’t use the loaner vehicle given to people who are waiting until their own vehicle is repaired as some kind of favour. It seems like by getting a vehicle from the dealership while I waited for three weeks was some kind of a kind favour given to me. That can negate the suffering of long wait of repairs. I also see this being used in responses of this dealership to many other reviews. But it is a common practice ever since I have been in Canada. Edmonton is my third city in Canada alone. I offer my sincere respect to everyone, and bow to the omnipresent God, even in all of us. Namah Astey ?? Planning to get a hardwired front and rear dash cameras with parking mode installed here. Hopefully it will be a good experience and I can even give them a five star. Dec 28, 2025: - Within less than two months of ownership of a Ford escape plug-in hybrid 2025 that I purchased from Maclin Ford Calgary. I started getting yellow check engine light which happened three times. The third time the power train red warning also came up. I brought my car to Sherwood Ford service centre on December 12, 2025. I have been informed that high voltage plug-in battery has defect and they ordered a replacement. Also they received new battery on December 19. On the same day I was told they are waiting still for the bolts that are required to secure the battery into position. The advisor Kat, who was helping me is on vacation now. Since she left, I’m not getting any update apart from once. By a different team member. I choose this dealership service centre after going through the Google review ratings of all dealerships in this region. Even though I live in SW Edmonton. I hope the dealership can advocate and provide me with the extension of my warranty because I have not been able to even use this vehicle for so long now. Will update my experience as the repair progresses and I receive my vehicle after this battery replacement and any other repairs have been done??. I understand the Christmas day when they were closed but I haven’t received any response after that even though I texted them. As the vehicle is just sitting in their lot from so long, I am now getting low battery warning as well. Hope this extremely cold weather and this situation doesn’t damage the 12v battery as well.... We had an excellent experience financing a truck. The entire process was very smooth from start to finish, and everyone we dealt with was honest and professional. Our salesperson, Subhi Qaraman was outstanding, knowledgeable, patient, and truly great to work with. What made the experience even better was that Subhi spoke Tagalog, which helped us connect more easily and made the whole process feel more comfortable and personal. They were able to get me the truck I truly wanted. I had my heart set on the Tremor trim, and although there were many similar models available on their lot, I wasn’t satisfied with the colors. The Space White really stood out to me, and they went the extra mile to locate one from another dealership right away. There was no pressure to settle for what was already available, they genuinely cared about making sure I was fully satisfied with my purchase. Robert Moisley was also excellent to work with. He was very knowledgeable, straightforward, and clear when explaining the financing options, as well as the protection and maintenance packages. Everything was easy to understand, and there were no surprises. On top of that, they even included thoughtful freebies like mugs and hats with our purchase. Chris Suvanto was also very welcoming and super friendly. From the moment we arrived, we felt acknowledged and valued as customers. He didn’t just welcome us at the beginning, he also made the effort to personally check in again at the end of our purchase. It truly made us feel special and appreciated, and it showed that our purchase was significant to them and that they were genuinely grateful we chose their dealership. What a great team they have. We currently have two brand-new 2025 trucks that we financed last year from a different dealership, and even with those two purchases, we were not treated as special as we were here. At that dealership, we weren’t truly welcomed, acknowledged, or made to feel appreciated. The difference in customer care was very noticeable. This is my first time purchasing a truck from this dealership, and I truly hope they continue to stay honest and true to their word. I also hope they remain reliable in times of need, especially if any issues come up with the truck. Unlike other dealerships that only care about making the sale and don’t take care of their customers afterward. If they stay true to their values, they will have our loyalty. Our family would definitely come back here again for future truck purchases as our construction company continues to grow.... More
